17th: Early game drive (THIS MEANS ELEPHANTS!!! YAY!!!) before breakfast. In one
of the images on Mabula's site, it shows a jeep parked by a table out in the bush, either at sunrise or sunset. Beautiful. There are ostriches in the background. They'll probably try to eat my pancakes...or plantains. Probably plantains.

Then there are scheduled activities...lunch, afternoon tea (sigh...sounds
nice) another evening game drive, and dinner. Cody did research, and I think he said the sun sets around 6 over there.

18th: Early morning game drive. Check out after breakfast. Head back to
Johannesburg to get on DL 0201, departing 9:05 pm and arriving in Atlanta at 6:45 am.

See? Not so "sleg"! It's going to go very, very, "goed"! Moenie u kwel nie!

It will be interesting to hear Afrikaans once we get there. I've got my resources here at home(it looks like i know a lot on blog, but i don't even know what i'm typing SOUNDS like! lol), sharing a little bit here and there with you. Hope you're enjoying. I have a few Japanese terms down on paper to take with me, and of course Tagalog, need to brush up on some Portuguese greetings, but no matter how much i try to prepare, i think smiles and hugs are going to be most of the communication. Only in Jehovah's organization can you travel to ONE place and expect to meet almost every nationality, and end up in happy tears and hugs. I'm not even there yet...this is going to be "werklik groot"!

Tomorrow will be a busy day. Everyone have a great day in service and a good meeting on Sunday! Have warm fun in your evenings! I'll try to post (is that right terminology?? I feel so smart right now.) soon, but it will probably be in a few days, and of course, depending on connections...convertors...you know. Goeienag en soete drome! (ok, i'll give this one to you: good night and sweet dreams!!!)
